Welcome 2026 – News Update

We hope 2026 has begun beautifully for you, with space for rest and reflection. We remained open over the New Year break and have loved seeing the wonderful response  a truly energising way to begin the year.

Last year was a significant one for us at Yoga Atma, marked by change, growth, and a few unexpected turns.

In April, we discovered our new home on the first floor of the beautiful mid-century Carlisle House, a light-filled haven with distinctive architectural charm. One of its standout features is a Frank Lloyd Wright–inspired design element, which we understand may contribute to the building’s heritage status.

When we first stepped inside, the space was a blank canvas. With the help of a dedicated team of builders (and a very tight timeline!), we transformed it into a fully functioning studio in just one month. By May, we had moved in, and almost immediately it began to feel like home.

We are deeply grateful to our community for staying with us through this transition. Your presence, support, and energy are what truly make Yoga Atma a sanctuary.

Our new home offers more than a peaceful place to practise and explore the depth of Iyengar yoga  it nurtures something just as meaningful:

• a quiet sense of fellowship

• a shared commitment to presence

• and a deep respect for the space and for one another

One of the most beautiful aspects of Yoga Atma is the community we’ve built together, a place where we come not only to practise, but to connect, share, and grow.

We show up for practice, and for each other.

Each time we step onto our mats, we contribute to a collective energy grounded in care, awareness, and mutual respect.

As we settle into our new premises, it already feels deeply like home.
